FUN
This is my main focus. Having fun whilst learning also helps students retain information better because they enjoy the process.
STRATEGY
Students will learn how to master strategy, tactics and study from the Opening, through the Middle Game to the Endgame.
TOURNAMENTS
I will prepare my students and guide them through the various tournaments and championships.
About Me
As a chess master, I have been coaching the Rockin’ Rooks for 14 years, an award-winning community chess team, based in Rhinebeck NY. In addition, I coach private students in all aspects of mastering Chess.

We are an award-winning community chess team, based in Rhinebeck NY. We hold classes on a weekly basis for children in grades K-12 at the Morton Memorial Library in Rhinecliff. We also travel to compete in chess tournaments in our area.
